The Rainforest I, Aero-hydroponic system will germinate seeds or root plants from cuttings with amazing speed. Each unit can accommodate six plants in the 3" net pots included. These cups with the Leca stone provide the primary support for the roots. The Rainforest delivers nutrient solution to each plant through a spray column that aerates the solution as it sprays directly on the roots. This method is so powerful that Rainforest units have produced roots even from cuttings of trees which previously were thought to be incapable of propagating from cuttings. Each attractive gray and tan unit comes with the 3-1/2 gallon reservoir and cover, and includes a submersible aeration pump, drain level tube, net pots, covers and rockwool seeding cubes. |
